1. Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Policy

Objective

Gargi Home is committed to providing asafe, respectful, and inclusive workplace free from sexual harassment. This policy complies with theSexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act) and applies to all employees, vendors, contractors, and visitors.

Definition of Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment includes (but is not limited to):

-Physical: Unwanted touching, gestures, or assault.

-Verbal: Sexist remarks, jokes, or comments about appearance.

-Quid Pro Quo: Demanding sexual favors in exchange for job benefits.

-Cyber Harassment: Sending inappropriate emails/messages via social media.

Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

- A5-member ICC (including an external woman member) is appointed to handle complaints.

- Employees can contact ICC viaposh@gargihome.com or a confidential helpline.

Complaint Process

1.Submission: Written complaint within3 months of the incident.

2.Investigation:

- Confidential inquiry within30 days.

- Both parties may present evidence/witnesses.

3.Resolution:

-Corrective Action: Warning, suspension, or termination.

-Legal Action: If the offense is criminal, police will be informed.

4.False Complaints: Malicious complaints may lead to disciplinary action.
